Eight new species of Ophiomyia from the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic (Diptera: Agromyzidae)

Descriptions of eight new species of Ophiomyia (O. orientalis sp. n., O. vimmeri sp. n., O. slovaca sp. n., O. pseudonasuta sp. n., O. moravica sp. n., O. mohelensis sp. n., O. bohemica sp. n. and O. subheracleivora sp. n.) from the territory of the former Czechoslovakia are given. Distinguishing characters are documented by the illustrations including those of the male terminalia and the taxonomic positions of all the new species are briefly discussed. A key to all the European Ophiomyia species is added.
